Carl Douglass is a man of unusual intellect. His knowledge and interests range far beyond the world of medicine.  In his most recent book “The Young Coyote,” he has captured the climate of a small town in the American west of the 1940s, the driven young protagonist, Garven and the people who mentored his ambition.
